Citroen launches Basalt X Comfort Edition
Citroen India has launched the Basalt X Comfort Edition, priced from ₹8.75 lakh ex-showroom, timed with the company’s 108th anniversary. The edition is the second Citroen model to receive the Comfort Edition after the Aircross. Inside, it features Metropolitan Beige leatherette seats and the Comfort AXS packs, adding JBL premium audio, front and cabin dash cameras with predictive safety alerts, a reverse parking camera, a wireless charger, and a 10-inch Android touchscreen. The Basalt X offers two engine options: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol producing 82hp and 115 Nm with a 5-speed manual, and a 1.2-litre turbo delivering 110hp and 190 Nm with a choice of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. The Comfort Edition emphasizes personalization through the AXS packs, combining premium interiors with upgraded technology and convenience features. It’s available nationwide, with bookings possible online or at Citroen dealerships.
