Abu Dhabi unveiled Marsa Al Saadiyat, a AED 100 billion, 6.4 square‑meter development that will become one of the UAE’s most luxurious waterfront destinations, master‑developed by Aldar with overall design and primary infrastructure under its remit. The project features Abu Dhabi’s largest marina, capable of 350 sailing boats and luxury yachts, and extends along an 8‑kilometre waterfront with beaches, parks, promenades, and a network of walking and cycling paths, integrated with Saadiyat Island’s cultural district. Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan oversaw the launch and directed the renaming from Saadiyat Marina District to Marsa Al Saadiyat, highlighting the UAE’s maritime heritage and the island’s shift toward culture, tourism, and high‑quality living. The master plan anticipates more than 58,000 residents through a curated mix of private homes, luxury villas, waterfront apartments, schools, and cultural facilities, with infrastructure works commencing in the near term and home sales expected in the second half of 2026.
