PNC Expands MBB Holdings by 106,144 Shares
PNC Financial Services Group Inc. reported varying moves across its iShares ETF holdings in the first quarter, increasing its position in several funds while trimming others. The bank raised its stake in iShares MBS ETF (MBB) by 3.5% to about 3.11 million shares, valued near $295 million, as part of ongoing portfolio tweaks. It also reduced its stake in iShares MSCI EAFE ETF (EFA) by 0.7%, ending with roughly 8.40 million shares worth about $816 million. In contrast, PNC grew its holding in iShares U.S. Treasury Bond ETF (GOVT) by 3.3%, to more than 54.7 million shares, with a value around $1.25 billion. The firm expanded its position in iShares Core S&P Mid-Cap ETF (IJH) by 1.7% to about 15.87 million shares, valued at roughly $1.07 billion, while trimming iShares S&P 500 Value ETF (IVE) by 3.1% to 2.27 million shares, worth about $480 million. These moves illustrate a diversified reallocation across fixed income, international, and U.S. equity exposures in its ETF holdings.
