Sylvan Esso Announce Self-Released Album Ow ∞
Sylvan Esso have announced Ow ∞, their first album in four years, due September 11 on their own Psychic Hotline label. The record features the single Concrete Glen, which samples Sigur Rós and was released with a video, along with Hot Slob, and reflects the duo’s longest, most collaborative project to date with a wide roster of contributors. Amelia Meath describes a production approach that intentionally trims ideas to spark curiosity and push creativity, a theme echoed across the album’s pop-forward experiments. The LP includes a large community of musicians such as Daniel Aged, BJ Burton, Matt Douglas, Glenn Kotche, Jake Luppen, and Jenn Wasner, among others. Sylvan Esso are also launching a North American tour in fall 2026, with additional album listening events on September 3, and plan to release more live dates into 2027. The album’s rollout has been covered across multiple outlets, highlighting the duo’s return and the evolution of their sound.
