Josh Lucas Joins Kidman, Fanning in Discretion
Josh Lucas is set to star opposite Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning in Discretion, a Paramount+ eight-episode legal drama from A24. The series, based on Chandler Baker’s short story, follows a Dallas law firm associate who uncovers a network of NDAs masking a dangerous corporate secret and a mentor-protégé clash between Lenny and Sharon. Production is slated to begin in 2026, with the story centered on a high-stakes Dallas corporate setting. Baker is writing and executive producing, with Kidman and Fanning also serving as executive producers alongside a team including Susannah Grant and Lewellen Pictures’ Dakota Fanning. Lucas will play Greg, the husband of Kidman’s powerful partner, woven into the same NDA web driving the plot. The project marks a high-profile launch for Paramount+ under its new leadership after a competitive straight-to-series order and involves multiple producers and studios, including Blossom Films and Lewellen Pictures.
