Murmu also addressed the Assembly of North Macedonia and held bilateral talks with the North Macedonian president, underscoring historic and evolving ties between the two countries. Earlier in the visit, she and the North Macedonian president visited the Memorial House of Mother Teresa in Skopje to pay tribute to the Nobel laureate. Murmu highlighted Gandhi’s message as belonging to all humanity and stressed that truth and non-violence remain powerful tools for justice and dignity in a world facing conflict and division. The leaders’ engagement emphasized cultural and people-to-people ties and a shared commitment to deepen cooperation in the years ahead.
