Sundowns Unveil Two-Star CAF Kit
Mamelodi Sundowns have unveiled their 2026/27 home kit, the first to feature two stars above the crest to mark their second CAF Champions League title, with a design that revives the 1994 kit and sticks to yellow with blue shorts and white socks. The strip showcases red Puma logos and a thin green collar stripe, while keeping Sundowns’ iconic look and celebrating the club’s history as part of the “Shine on Masandawana” campaign that includes both current players and club legends. The launch emphasizes the club’s heritage alongside its ongoing ambition as they prepare for another campaign on both domestic and continental fronts. The kit is set to go on sale on July 31, with online and retail availability as Sundowns continue pre-season preparations in Austria after a 1-1 draw with Hertha Berlin. PUMA, in partnership with Sundowns, highlights the return to a classic design that honors the club’s legacy and success, including the two-star distinction. Sundowns also aim to reclaim the South African title after Orlando Pirates ended their eight-year domestic title run.
