CVS Health Bond ETF Holdings Across Five Treasuries in Q1
CVS Health expanded its bond ETF exposure in the first quarter by taking new positions across multiple funds. The company acquired 182,800 shares of iShares 3-7 Year Treasury Bond ETF (IEI), valued at about $21.68 million, making IEI roughly 10% of CVS’s portfolio and its second-largest holding. It also opened a stake in Vanguard Short-Term Corporate Bond ETF (VCSH) of 120,000 shares worth about $9.51 million, roughly 4.5% of CVS’s portfolio and its eighth-largest position. In addition, CVS purchased 20,000 shares of iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT) for about $1.73 million, representing 0.8% of the portfolio and ranking around 18th in size. The retailer also added 60,000 shares of Vanguard Intermediate-Term Corporate Bond ETF (VCIT) worth about $4.97 million, about 2.3% of holdings and 12th largest, and 35,000 shares of iShares 7-10 Year Treasury Bond ETF (IEF) for roughly $3.34 million, about 1.6% of the portfolio and 16th largest.
