Adéla, the Slovak singer who rose to prominence on The Debut: Dream Academy, has announced her debut album Prima, scheduled for release on September 4 via Capitol Records. The project is executive-produced by Dylan Brady and Blake Slatkin and follows her recent singles including KGB and Red Bottoms, as well as the new track Ain’t In LA accompanied by a Fred Gervais-directed music video filmed in Bratislava. Ain’t In LA fuses booming 808s and glossy, chopped aesthetics, inspired by photographs of her mother and the memory of her grandfather smuggling posters from Germany, a tribute she extends to other girls chasing their dreams. Prima is pitched as a three-dimensional portrait of her artistry, aiming to sound like a 22-year-old girl and blending hard-edged beats with soft vulnerability while exploring love, identity, autonomy, and friendship. The album marks her first full-length release after the 2025 EP The Provocateur and has been widely framed as a bold, empowering step in her pop ascent.
