Quitting after hearing that warning says more about the company's direction than any public statement could.
A 10 percent shot at wiping out humanity feels like the kind of odds that should slow things down, not speed them up.
If these AI labs have people quitting over extinction risks, maybe the rest of us should pay more attention to what they're building.
