Roundabout Theatre Company has unveiled its 2026-2027 season, including the first Broadway revival of The Full Monty and a new adaptation of Molière’s The Imaginary Invalid, opening in late October as part of a season that marks the company’s 60th milestone and transitions to incoming Artistic Director Christopher Ashley. The Imaginary Invalid stars Bill Irwin, who also adapted the piece, with Brandon J. Dirden directing; previews begin September 25 and the opening is October 22, 2026, at the Todd Haimes Theatre. The Heart will anchor Off-Broadway in the Laura Pels with a fall opening date of October 29, followed by The Grief Eater Near North Bender, and The Vagina Monologues as part of the Off-Broadway slate with dates to be announced. Dominique Morisseau’s Mix and Master, directed by Kamilah Forbes and starring Ruben Santiago-Hudson and Kara Young, runs at the Haimes Theatre with performances starting January 5 and opening January 27, 2027. The Full Monty Broadway revival, directed by Leigh Silverman with choreography by Connor Gallagher, runs from April 3 to the openings on April 25, 2027. The season emphasizes a mix of revivals, world premieres, and new work, reinforcing Roundabout’s leadership transition and broader theatrical slate.
