Audacy, SiriusXM Strike 42-Station Distribution Deal
SiriusXM and Audacy have announced a deal to bring 42 Audacy stations—23 sports and 19 news/talk—from 29 markets to SiriusXM, with the sports lineup launching on September 1 to coincide with football season and the news/talk stations arriving later this year. The stations will be available to the majority of subscribers in vehicles equipped with SiriusXM’s 360L platform and on the SiriusXM app, expanding access to local sports talk, national voices, league channels, and podcasts. The agreement extends SiriusXM’s already strong sports lineup while broadening Audacy’s reach across a national footprint, with licensing terms allowing SiriusXM to insert advertising and cross-promote personalities across brands. SiriusXM’s Scott Greenstein framed the move as delivering a more complete audio experience by combining live games, national talk, and hometown conversations in one place. Audacy’s Kelli Turner highlighted the natural fit of extending local brands nationally through SiriusXM to deepen audience engagement. The deal marks a strategic expansion for both companies as they emphasize the value of trusted local voices in a national streaming platform.
