Westpac Expands U.S. Bancorp Stake 50% in Q1
Westpac Banking Corp continued an active portfolio repositioning, boosting its stake in U.S. Bancorp by 50% to 128,101 shares worth about $6.66 million. It trimmed its Goldman Sachs position by 4.6% to 17,665 shares, valued at roughly $14.94 million. The bank also expanded exposure to Dollar General by 337.6% to 41,788 shares, worth about $4.96 million. Westpac increased its holding in Regency Centers by 16.6% to 60,867 shares, valued at around $4.61 million. At the same time, it reduced its GE Aerospace stake by 10.1% to 15,067 shares, valued at about $4.28 million. These moves reflect Westpac’s broader pattern of adjusting multiple holdings across financials, retailers, real estate, and aerospace, in line with 13F filing activity reported for the period.
