Squeeze plans 2027 Australia New Zealand tour
Squeeze has announced a 2027 tour that will bring the British band back to Australia and New Zealand in April, celebrating 53 years of songwriting with the Tried, Tested and Trixies Tour. The dates will include shows in Auckland, Wellington, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, with ticket sales kicking off in late July and early-bird presales starting July 29. The band’s lineup remains anchored by Glenn Tilbrook alongside Chris Difford’s longtime collaborators, including Owen Biddle, Steve Smith, Stephen Large, Simon Hanson, Leon Tilbrook and backing vocalist Danica Dora. They will perform a mix of classic hits and material from their latest album, Trixies, which was released earlier this year and marks the band’s first new writing in eight years. Tilbrook has spoken about the excitement of returning to the road, saying the new show showcases both recent material and enduring favourites. The tour’s official push emphasizes the band’s five-decade legacy and plans to bring these songs to fans across Australia and New Zealand in 2027.
