Jets plan White Out uniforms for 2026 season
The New York Jets unveiled a white alternate helmet and jersey for their 2026 season, to be worn first in Week 2’s home opener against the Green Bay Packers on September 20 at MetLife Stadium as part of a 'White Out' night. The white helmet features the Jets’ green logo with a central green stripe, inverted from the team’s traditional green helmet, and will be paired with white jerseys and pants. This marks the fifth helmet in the Jets’ collection, joining the primary green helmets with white logo, a black matte alternate, a classic old-logo helmet, and a charcoal "Gotham City" Nike Rivalries variant. The team and its social channels have promoted the White Out game as a featured event, with limited use of the white look planned this season. Multiple outlets highlight the home opener promotion and week-two branding, and it remains unclear whether the white helmets will appear again later in the season beyond that game.
