Independent Financial Group Expands ETF Stakes Across Funds
Independent Financial Group LLC disclosed new Q1 positions in several exchange-traded funds, starting with an 8,996-share stake in Global X Silver Miners ETF (SIL) valued at about $810,000. The same quarter saw additional SIL activity from other institutions, including modest increases at Hollencrest Capital Management and more substantial moves by TD Waterhouse Canada, CIBC Private Wealth, Sequoia Financial Advisors, and Aptus Capital Advisors. IFG also opened a new stake in Global X Copper Miners ETF (COPX) with 9,122 shares worth roughly $696,000. In addition, IFG established a position in VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF (GDXJ) comprising 6,341 shares about $761,000 in value, and took 8,247 shares in VanEck Rare Earth and Strategic Metals ETF (REMX) for around $726,000. Finally, IFG added to its holdings in AllianzIM U.S. Large Cap Buffer20 Jul ETF (JULW) with 23,209 shares valued at about $901,000 in the first quarter. These moves illustrate IFG’s diversified tilt across gold, copper, silver, rare earths, and buffered large-cap exposures during the period.
