Atlanta Electricals Q1 Profit Surges, Shares Fall
Atlanta Electricals reported a strong start to FY27 with consolidated net profit of ₹46.84 crore for Q1, up from the year-ago period, as revenue rose about 48% to ₹466.33 crore and EBITDA climbed 58% to ₹77.4 crore, driving margins to around 16.6%. Standalone results show even stronger profitability, with net profit of ₹53.09 crore on revenue of ₹466.33 crore, while consolidated numbers were pressured by a subsidiary-heavy balance sheet. The company’s order book swelled to ₹3,116.63 crore, reflecting healthy revenue visibility, and its strategy emphasizes higher-capacity transformers and expanding EHV/UHV capabilities to capture the grid modernisation trend. A notable divergence between standalone and consolidated figures stems from higher depreciation and the presence of subsidiaries, with the firm also reporting that it deployed most of its IPO proceeds (₹398.09 crore of ₹400 crore) and held ₹1.91 crore unutilised as of June 30, 2026. Management highlighted de-leveraging benefits and capacity expansions across its five plants to sustain volume execution, alongside a shift toward higher-margin kV classes and continued order inflows from utilities.
