Law firms file suits against Beta Bionics alleging unreported pump complaints
Multiple law firms including Rosen, Block & Leviton, Kaplan Fox, and Faruqi & Faruqi have filed or publicized securities class actions against Beta Bionics covering stock bought from July 30, 2025 through February 24, 2026. The complaints allege that after an FDA Form 483 in mid-2025 documented more than 18,000 unreported customer complaints across fewer than 30,000 iLet users, including life-threatening hypoglycemic events, the company misled investors about its automated insulin pump. They quote Beta Bionics calling FDA concerns "a very benign issue" with "nothing to do with the actual complaints being received or the number of them." A January 8, 2026 miss on new patient starts cut the stock roughly 37% in one day; the company disclosed an FDA warning letter on January 30, 2026, and the FDA released it on February 24, 2026. Shares fell from $31.99 to under $13. Separately, Mike Mensinger and Mark Hopman sold shares on September 16, 2026 under Rule 10b5-1 plans, and the stock fell 4.3% in Thursday trading. CONTESTED: The allegations are unproven and no class has been certified. Lead-plaintiff motions are due by November 3, 2026.
