Dickies had outfitted Big Tex since 1997, making this a notable partnership shift. A Dallas native, Aaliyah McNeal, won a Lucchese boots design contest to create Big Tex’s boots for the new look. Resistol remains the hat partner, Cavender’s provides the shirt, and the collaboration underscores Texas brands and Western craftsmanship. The year’s branding includes the theme “Stars, Stripes, and Howdies” celebrating regional storytelling.
