Arcus Debuts Tokenized Stocks on Robinhood Chain
Arcus, the Robinhood-backed DEX created by the dYdX team, expanded on Robinhood Chain by launching tokenized stocks and perpetual futures across more than 95 stock tokens, ETFs, commodities, and crypto assets, all accessible through self-custodial wallets and a unified account. The platform uses Paxos USDG as the primary collateral and settlement asset, and supports wallet integrations like MetaMask, Ledger, and WalletConnect, while noting restrictions for stock tokens in the US, Canada, the UK, and other jurisdictions. Major U.S. stocks such as Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, Meta, Google, Amazon, and Tesla are among the tokenized offerings, with beta perpetual markets introduced to complement spot trading. Robinhood Chain’s infrastructure underpins Arcus’s continuous market access, and the launch follows earlier spot markets and rapid growth signals in on-chain liquidity, including strong perceived demand for perps. Analysts and industry observers question whether tokenized assets on Arcus will translate into durable liquidity and deeper perpetual books beyond initial trading momentum. The rollout underscores ongoing efforts to build onchain markets for traditional assets while regulatory and access considerations continue to shape how tokenized securities are adopted across regions.
