Chattanooga Selects Four Startups for First Quantum Accelerator Cohort

Chattanooga’s CO.LAB has launched its first 12-month CO.LAB Q cohort, selecting Ridge Quantum, Superquantum, Esoteriq and Kottackal to help bring quantum technologies to market. The program will connect the startups with technical resources, infrastructure, prospective customers, pilot opportunities and potential investors, while tracking each team’s commercial readiness. Ridge Quantum will test Oak Ridge National Laboratory-licensed encryption technology on EPB’s network; Superquantum is developing software for planning and running quantum-computing tasks; Esoteriq’s Rune software assesses whether real-world data is suitable for quantum computing; and Kottackal is combining quantum and conventional sensors with secure networking and AI to monitor infrastructure. The cohort reflects CO.LAB’s effort to bridge the gap between quantum research and paying customers, with applications including critical-infrastructure security, industrial monitoring and making quantum computing more practical for businesses.
