The Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 is highlighted for safeguarding children's online privacy, including parental consent and prohibitions on tracking and targeted ads aimed at minors. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act 2025 is cited as a measure to address digital addiction and financial harm among youth. In addition to platform blocking, the government has conducted large-scale cyber awareness initiatives reaching over 11.37 lakh participants to strengthen online safety for children and other stakeholders. The actions collectively aim to create an open, safe, trusted, and accountable internet with a focus on protecting minors online.
