Chryston gas leak: man charged with attempted murder
Police in Chryston, North Lanarkshire, charged a 29-year-old man with attempted murder after a fire and a major gas leak that led to evacuations of several homes. Emergency crews closed sections of the A80 and Cumbernauld Road while gas supplies were isolated and repairs were carried out.
