Doosan Bobcat Q2 profit up 43% tariff refunds
Doosan Bobcat reported provisional Q2 2026 sales of 2.4479 trillion won and operating profit of 291.7 billion won, up 11.2% and 42.9% year over year, with net profit rising 63.9% as higher operating earnings and lower financial costs supported the bottom line. In U.S. dollar terms, revenue was $1.63 billion and operating profit $195 million, yielding an operating margin of 11.9%. Product-wise, compact equipment and industrial vehicles grew 4% and 2% respectively, Portable Power recovered to prior-year levels, and Doosan Mottrol posted 40% growth due to stronger demand. Regionally, North America rose 3%, Europe, the Middle East and Africa climbed 10%, while Asia, Latin America and Oceania fell by 8% amid weaker forklift sales. The company announced a second-quarter dividend of 400 won per share plus a plan for a minimum annual dividend of 1,600 won, and it also disclosed a memorandum of understanding with Maum AI to develop autonomous operation technology for construction equipment.
