GreenLine, Dabur India to deploy LNG trucks nationwide
GreenLine Mobility Solutions has entered into a partnership with Dabur India to deploy LNG-powered trucks across Dabur’s logistics network, aiming to decarbonise long-haul freight while preserving operational efficiency and reliability. The collaboration mirrors a broader push among Indian companies to adopt low-emission freight solutions as part of sustainability and decarbonisation strategies. GreenLine, an Essar group venture, operates more than 1,000 LNG and electric-powered heavy commercial vehicles, with its fleet having traveled over 100 million kilometres. Dabur’s leadership emphasizes that reducing the environmental footprint of its supply chain is a key component of its sustainability roadmap, and the partners expect the initiative to advance a cleaner, future-ready logistics ecosystem. Industry observers note that this partnership aligns with growing momentum toward greener freight mobility and more sustainable supply chains in India. Overall, the alliance seeks to deliver lower emissions from long-distance transportation without sacrificing service levels, strengthening Dabur’s sustainable supply chain commitments.
