AMC+ reports exclusive US rights to Kill Jackie
Kill Jackie, a Catherine Zeta-Jones-led thriller based on Nick Harkaway’s The Price You Pay, is set to premiere on AMC+ in the United States with exclusive streaming rights, while Prime Video continues to carry the series in the UK and across parts of Europe. The show is co-produced by Steel Springs Pictures and Fremantle, with a creative team that includes Tom Butterworth and Conor Keane, and features a gender-swapped lead that follows Jackie Price as she confronts a deadly hit squad known as The Seven Demons. AMC Global Media describes the series as a bold, character-driven gonzo thriller that blends dark humor with high-stakes action, and exec producer Catherine Zeta-Jones leads an ensemble cast that includes Daniel Ings among others. The U.S. rights deal was negotiated by Steel Springs and De Maio Entertainment, with Fremantle handling international sales, and the project has been positioned as a premium scripted addition to AMC+’s slate, slated to launch in the fall. The collaboration marks continued cross-border partnerships among Steel Springs Pictures, Fremantle, and Deabru Kalea Filmeak in production and sales as the show expands to global audiences.
