Exxon, Chevron Cancel ADIPEC Trips Over Security
ExxonMobil CEO Darren Woods and Chevron upstream president Clay Neff have canceled plans to attend the ADIPEC oil conference in Abu Dhabi, citing security concerns amid heightened regional tensions. The withdrawals come as the United States weighs possible military action against Iran and neighboring Saudi Arabia faces attacks, though the UAE has not been targeted since May. Other executives, including BP CEO Meg O’Neill and Equinor CEO Anders Opedal, remained on the conference schedule.
