Johor's government announced the appointment of 10 deputy chairmen for State Executive Council committees to strengthen administration, improve service delivery, and accelerate the implementation of policies across districts, with consent from the Regent to serve on key committees. Among the new appointees are two first-time MCA assembly members, Chua Jian Boon and Chan San San, who will head committees on unity, heritage and culture, and women, family and community development, respectively, signaling a focus on social issues and inclusive governance.
