The company says no illnesses have been reported and is urging consumers to discard the recalled eggs or return them for a full refund, while the FDA has published recall notices. Recalled cartons can be identified by carton codes such as P-1950 or 0840962 and Julian dates 157 through 184. The recall covers white-shell and brown cage-free eggs from Texas farms and poses heightened risk to young children, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. Consumers are advised to check with retailers for refunds and to avoid consuming recalled products.
