Georgia routs Tennessee State 63-3 as Georgia State tops North Carolina A&T 59-10


Georgia opened its season with a dominant 63-3 victory over Tennessee State, scoring touchdowns on its first five possessions and amassing 661 yards of offense. Quarterback Gunner Stockton completed 15 of 16 passes for 202 yards and three touchdowns, while running back Nate Frazier scored three times on just four carries. Georgia State also cruised in its opener, defeating North Carolina A&T 59-10 after scoring touchdowns on six consecutive possessions. Quarterback Cameran Brown threw for 190 yards and two touchdowns, and six Panthers scored rushing touchdowns as Georgia State totaled 563 yards. The Aggies, who fell to 0-2, managed 209 yards and one touchdown, while Georgia State began the season with momentum after a 1-11 campaign in 2025.
