Mabrey, Howard Lead WNBA 3-Point Contest
Marina Mabrey and Rhyne Howard headline the Chicago-based WNBA All-Star 3-point contest, joined by Dallas rookie Azzi Fudd, Natisha Hiedeman, Bridget Carleton and Janelle Salaun. Mabrey and Howard rank 1-2 in 3-pointers made this season, with Mabrey tying the league record by scoring nine 3-pointers in a game on two occasions, including a 53-point effort. Caitlin Clark, Sabrina Ionescu and Kayla McBride declined invites to participate. The prize structure awards the winner $20,000 and each participant $10,000. The field has varied across years, with Ionescu a previous champion not present in this edition, and Mabrey returning to the contest after competing in 2024. The event will feature an adjusted rule set, including a money ball and two From-the-Logo shots, emphasizing updated formats for 2026.
