Men sentenced in US, UK child exploitation cases
Authorities in the U.K. and several U.S. states announced sentences in separate cases involving child sexual abuse material and offenses against minors. In Suffolk, Robert Churchyard received a three-year community order after admitting to making and distributing indecent images and attempting to engage sexually with a child online. U.S. sentences included 75 years in prison for Joshua Turner in Texas, who possessed abuse material, messaged minors and sexually assaulted a 14-year-old; 108 months for Edward Stephen Neil in Pennsylvania for distributing child sexual abuse material; and 210 months for Alabama’s Dylan Lovvorn for distributing it. A brief report also says a Batesville man was sentenced to 30 years for child pornography offenses, but provides few details about the case.
