Missouri to Use 2022 Congressional Map After Supreme Court Ruling

The U.S. Supreme Court declined to reinstate Missouri’s Republican-backed 2025 congressional map, leaving the state on track to use its 2022 boundaries for the November election. The decision preserves a Missouri Supreme Court ruling that the new map must first survive a voter referendum, and it effectively blocks a plan urged by President Trump that would have increased the Republican delegation from six to seven of Missouri’s eight House seats.
