Motorola Solutions Beats Estimates, Sets $16.6B Backlog Record
Motorola Solutions beat third-quarter 2026 estimates, reporting revenue of about $3.38 billion and non-GAAP earnings of $4.69 per share, up 12% and 16% year over year, respectively. Strong demand for safety and security products drove record quarterly orders and a record $16.6 billion backlog, with growth in both Products and Systems Integration and Software and Services. The company raised its full-year revenue, earnings and cash-flow outlook; non-GAAP operating margin improved, while operating and free cash flow fell from a year earlier, mainly because of higher tax and interest payments. Shares traded near their 52-week high after the results.
