President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Bucharest, Romania, for the final leg of her three-nation State Visit, continuing India’s outreach to Eastern Europe. Murmu is slated to meet Romanian leaders, including President Nicusor Dan and interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, and to address the India-Romania Business Forum while engaging with the Indian community. This trip marks the first Indian presidential visit to Romania in more than three decades and follows Murmu’s earlier stops in Moldova and North Macedonia as part of the same tour.
