New Mexico attorney general accuses Epstein attorney, accountant of abuse cover-up at ranch

New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez filed a lawsuit on Oct. 21, 2026, against Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn accusing them of concealing Epstein's sex trafficking at Zorro Ranch. "None of this could be done by just one man," Torrez said at an Albuquerque news conference with accusers Anouska De Georgiou and Julia Molchanova. The suit alleges conspiracy and racketeering and seeks to stop the coexecutors from estate payments exceeding $100 million. Torrez said they stand to benefit substantially and that lawyers and accountants facilitated the abuse. Contested: their lawyer Dan Weiner said they emphatically reject the claims; not a single woman has accused Indyke or Kahn of sexual abuse, witnessing it, or receiving reports of Epstein's abuse. The men testified in Congress they did not know. Officials did not interview them before suing, Weiner said. Epstein bought the ranch near Stanley in 1993, about 30 miles south of Santa Fe, adding a 26,700-square-foot mansion, airstrip and helipad. He died by suicide in 2019. Maxwell is serving 20 years after her 2021 conviction; witnesses alleged ranch abuse. A 2026 class settlement paid up to $35 million without admitting wrongdoing. No New Mexico charges followed the 2019 Balderas investigation.
