No. 25 Missouri routs No. 8 Florida 45-17

No. 25 Missouri defeated No. 8 Florida 45-17 for Florida's first loss of the 2026 season after a 4-0 start. Missouri held Jadan Baugh to 13 yards on 12 carries and Florida to 42 yards on 25 attempts with no 20-plus yard runs. Austin Simmons passed for 340 yards and two touchdowns on 23-of-30. Jamal Roberts ran for 211 yards and three touchdowns. Missouri led 20-10 at half after a 50-yard field goal then pulled away. Aaron Philo went 21-of-34 for one touchdown before Tramell Jones Jr. replaced him and connected with TJ Abrams for a 42-yard score. Jon Sumrall told the locker room the fact they put less than their best out there absolutely makes him freaking sick and he is freaking livid over the fact they just did that. Anybody comfortable with that should come see him tonight; they ain't moving forward like this. He said they haven't looked like a complete football team yet, are not a very mature team, and have got to grow up. He put his hand on Baugh's hat late to reassure him. Contested: Yahoo has Philo at 197 passing yards; CBS has 192. No other disputes found. Next is South Carolina.
Where do you stand?
