Oahu Tour Company Seeks Help Planting 100 Native Trees

Halia Private Tours is marking its 10th anniversary with “10 Trees for 10 Years,” an initiative to plant native trees at Waimea Valley and rally community support for 100 plantings. Waimea Valley will raise the trees in a greenhouse before planting them on the hillsides, supporting native ecosystems and the valley’s carbon-offset efforts. The company also invites tour guests to add stewardship activities, such as planting or coastal cleanups, and offers up to $200 off custom private Oahu tours to participants.
