OpenWorld targets Q4 Figure OPEN dual listing

OpenWorld confirmed its planned dual listing on Figure's On-chain Public Equity Network remains on track for the fourth quarter of 2026. On October 16, 2026, holders of approximately 57.57% of outstanding common stock approved Restated Articles authorizing 500,000,000 shares of Blockchain Common Stock. The Board approved the articles on September 30, 2026, and a Form 8-K was filed October 16. The company said the blockchain shares represent existing Nasdaq equity with no new issuance, no capital raised, and no change in outstanding shares. Vinyl Equity, an SEC-registered transfer agent, was appointed to support both formats. CEO Matthew Shaw said, "Bringing OPNW on-chain has been part of our vision since day one, and we remain on track to execute this vision with Figure OPEN later this quarter," and that the listing gives existing stockholders greater choice without dilution, with faster settlement and extended trading access. No contested claims found. Per the wire summary, the launch date and trading activity have not yet been confirmed. A definitive Information Statement on Schedule 14C is expected to begin mailing October 26, 2026, after which the Restated Articles become effective upon filing with the Nevada Secretary of State once the Rule 14c-2 notice period expires.
