Injury-Hit Penguins Host Mammoth After Overtime Win

The Pittsburgh Penguins host the Utah Mammoth on Thursday after improving to 4-1 at home with a 3-2 overtime win over Nashville; Utah won the teams’ first meeting, 5-4. The Penguins are dealing with numerous injuries, especially on defense, though Ben Kindel has returned to practice and Evgeni Malkin and Egor Chinakhov are listed as day to day. Utah enters at 8-5 and 6-4 over its last 10 games, averaging more goals than Pittsburgh, which is 3-6-1 over its last 10.
