Poland Output Rises, Producer Inflation Highest Since 2023
Poland’s industrial production grew 4.6% year over year in September 2026, beating expectations and accelerating from August’s 4.0% increase. Manufacturing and utilities contributed to the gains, while mining output remained higher than a year earlier but grew more slowly than in August; production also rebounded sharply month to month. Producer prices rose 6.1% year over year, their fastest pace since April 2023, with increases across major sectors. Meanwhile, average corporate wages rose 5.9% to PLN 9,266.48, below forecasts, while paid employment declined 0.8% year over year.
