Armed man arrested after lunging at Ohio candidate Amy Acton at Canfield Fair

Ohio Democratic gubernatorial nominee Amy Acton was unharmed after authorities said Patrick Havas, 38, pushed through a crowd toward her while she spoke at the Canfield Fair near Youngstown on Sunday. Ohio State Highway Patrol security officers stopped Havas before he reached Acton; authorities said he had two handguns and brass knuckles, while another report said a Taser was also recovered, though no weapon was displayed or used. Two people were reportedly knocked down and injured, and Havas was arrested on two assault counts and disorderly conduct. Acton returned to the campaign trail in Cleveland the next day, where she helped respond to two medical emergencies and thanked first responders and her security detail.
