Reckitt Cuts 2026 Growth Outlook After Lysol Constraints

Reckitt on October 27 cut its 2026 Core Reckitt revenue-growth outlook to 3.5% to 4.5% from 4% to 5% after third-quarter like-for-like growth of 3.3% missed the 3.6% analyst consensus. Core Reckitt revenue was £2.69 billion. North America revenue fell 1.3% to £649 million on temporary Lysol manufacturing constraints. Emerging Markets like-for-like revenue grew 8.0% to £1.17 billion, or 9.8% excluding Russia hygiene. Europe returned to growth at 0.8%, with revenue of £867 million. Growth was 3.9% excluding Russia hygiene and 2.9% for the first nine months. Chief Executive Kris Licht said North America was below expectations. Jefferies analysts said: This is NOT a good update, expect RKT LN to be an underperformer vs peers this AM, and that the like-for-like miss and full-year guide cut would disappoint. Shares fell 7.1% in early trading according to finchannel citing Reuters; Investing.com reported they tumbled more than 6%. Reckitt maintained adjusted operating-margin guidance of 24.9% to 25.6% and reiterated its medium-term goal of 4% to 5% annual revenue growth. A slowdown in China’s vitamins, minerals and supplements category was cited as a factor.
