Ripple Mint Expands RLUSD Access Across Blockchains
Ripple has launched Ripple Mint, a centralized platform for institutional access to its RLUSD stablecoin, enabling minting, redemption, bridging, and monitoring via both a web interface and APIs. The platform aims to replace fragmented, manual workflows by providing real-time visibility, automated treasury and settlement integration, and consistent reference IDs to simplify reconciliation across fiat and on-chain transactions. Ripple Mint expands RLUSD across multiple blockchains, including XRPL EVM Sidechain, Base, Optimism, Ink, and Unichain, while maintaining a strong anchor to the XRP Ledger ecosystem. By offering programmable APIs and webhook notifications, Ripple Mint supports both operational control for human teams and automated integration for engineering teams within existing financial systems. The expansion signals Ripple’s push to broaden institutional liquidity, cross-chain interoperability, and seamless compliance-enabled stablecoin infrastructure for exchanges, fintechs, market makers, and asset managers.
