Sharon Osbourne Recalls Ozzy’s Final Moments
Ozzy Osbourne died July 22, 2025, at age 76 at his home in Buckinghamshire, England. Sharon Osbourne told the BBC in an interview published Oct. 26, 2026, that the night before, he woke and asked her to kiss him twice and hold him tight. The next morning she was called downstairs; she ran down and that was it. Death causes included cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease with autonomic dysfunction. Sharon visits the grave every day and buried him at their home rather than a public cemetery for peace. His final Black Sabbath show was July 5, 2025, in Birmingham despite doctors' warnings his heart was too weak; she described the last 17 days as joyous. Kelly Osbourne said knowing the world loved him has helped their grief. They met in 1970, married in 1982 and had three children. CONTESTED: no contested claims found QUOTE: We’d spoken in the night.
