Shenzhen Optics Fair Highlights Guangdong Eyewear Momentum
The fourth Shenzhen International Optics Fair and the first 2026 AI Glasses Expo opened June 16 at Shenzhen's Convention and Exhibition Center, spotlighting Guangdong-made eyewear and AI-enabled frames. More than 50 brands from China and overseas showcased an array of products from luxury frames to interactive AI glasses, underscoring Longgang District's manufacturing strength and the 'fashion plus technology' aim. Notable exhibitors included Arts Optical, Lipo, Lucyd, Conant Optical, with additions like RayNeo Innovations and INMO Technology, and a new product zone that merged traditional optics with AI eyewear on the same stage. Hall 8 drew dense foot traffic as dozens of new offerings and experience zones drew long lines, with visitors noting how rapidly capabilities are evolving. International buyers fueled deal-making, and suppliers reported high interest with many unable to connect everyone via messaging apps. The event was framed by observers as a sign of Guangdong's momentum in the eyewear industry and a push toward broadly integrating AI into everyday eyewear.
