Singapore Conference Explores AI's Role in Early Childhood Education
Singapore’s 2026 REACH Reggio Emilia Conference brought together more than 400 educators, policymakers and researchers from across the region and beyond to discuss early childhood education and the future of learning amid rapid advances in artificial intelligence. The event marked a deeper partnership among EtonHouse, E-Bridge and Reggio Children, including professional learning, research and ongoing dialogue connected to Reggio Emilia’s infant-toddler centers and preschools. Separately, an ASEAN–China education dialogue in Hanoi stressed that AI in education should remain human-centered, inclusive, ethical and transparent. Participants emphasized that technology can support teaching and personalized learning, but teachers must retain a central role and students need critical judgment to use AI responsibly.
