Mike Phillips joins Kyoto Hannaryz on two-year deal

Philippine-based Filipino-American forward Mike Phillips has signed a two-year deal with Kyoto Hannaryz in Japan’s B.League for the 2026-27 season and will continue to represent Gilas Pilipinas, having been classified as a local/Asian import after FIBA’s adjustments. The move follows his UAAP success with La Salle, a brief MPBL stint with San Juan Knights, and his recent international exposure as a Gilas player.
