Nvidia launches Spectrum-6 for AI data centers

Nvidia unveiled Spectrum-6, a 102.4 Tbps Ethernet platform for the Vera Rubin AI supercomputer, doubling capacity to speed training and inference for large-scale AI workloads, with early adopters including CoreWeave, Microsoft, Nebius, SpaceXAI, and Tesla. The announcement saw Nvidia stock rise about 2%, while AMD touted its rival Helios Rackscale Solution with Microsoft and other big players joined by Meta, OpenAI, and Oracle.
