U.S. Jordan Sign Reciprocal Trade Agreement
The United States and Jordan announced a reciprocal trade agreement to expand market access and reduce barriers for U.S. exports, including duty-free treatment for most U.S. goods entering Jordan and expanded access for American agricultural products and motor vehicles. The pact also emphasizes environmental and labor standards, intellectual property protections, fair trade practices, customs modernization, and cooperation on supply chain resilience and investment security, with further talks planned on services and investment to remove remaining barriers.
